| The Kuramathi Blue Lagoon, Maldives is situated on the more quiet westhern tip of Kuramathi Island. This boutique Resort faces the turquoise waters and it is surrounded by coconut groves. The relaxing standard rooms are spacious and furnished with cane furniture-bed including a private veranda. Popular with those seeking peace and rest. This 1 km long Island consists of 3 Resorts, the Cottage Club, Kuranathi Village and Blue Lagoon which is the smallest and quietest of the Resorts. Guests can visit all 3 Resorts. Transfer time is just over 2 hour by speedboat from Male International Airport.Guests are free to move about between the resorts (a bus runs up and down all day) to try out the other restaurants and bars, the varied nightlife or simply to explore. Every night there is some live band, disco or beach party at one or other resort. The whole island is most attractively landscaped and the low, thatched buildings fit handsomely into the environment. The three resorts are, nonetheless, quiet clearly graded. |
